I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled

An Ordinance further to amend the Merchant Shipping

Ordinance,

1899

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is que which is not contrary to

the Governor's Instructions

Section 41 of the Principal Ordinance as amended by section

14 of Ordinance No.9 of 1909 declares that Acts hereafter passed

amending the Merchant Shipping Act 1894 shall be in force in the Colony, and this Ordinance further amends the Principal Ordinance by declaring that the said Acts shall be in force in the Colony only when they are not inconsistent with the provisions of the Prin- -cipal Ordinance.
